Only 2.5% of the UK’s ancient woodland remains. Since 2000 alone, we’ve lost 70% of our veteran trees. Centuries ago, forests covered half of the British Isles; today, our ancient and new woodlands together make up just 13%, largely due to deforestation and intensive farming. This has been devastating for wildlife and ecosystems.
I am Richard and for the past seven years have been restoring nature on fifty-five acres of beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. With a little help, over 7500 trees have been planted. I recently founded Mamgoed and invite you to join our long-term mission: capturing carbon, restoring biodiversity, and regenerating the landscape through native woodland creation—also helping to reduce flooding and cool the planet.

Our subscription-based woodland regeneration sponsorship delivers quarterly photographic updates and growth statistics, enabling you to enjoy your trees progress through the seasons.
When you subscribe, you’ll receive an order acknowledgment, followed shortly by a digital certificate. Within a few days, you’ll receive your trees first photo and stats. We keep a record of the exact location through tagging and mapping on our master register.
